Killers

Killers was released on the 2nd of February 1981 and want to number 12 in the charts the media stated that the band was already falling behind and loosing there popularity merely because the album did not do as well as its processor, but the band were more than happy with its chart number and felt the getting into top 20 was good enough. This time the album was produced by veteran metal producer Martin Birch from Black Sabbath,  Deep Purple and wishbone Ash fame. The album was much cleaner and a less raw sound. Martin Birch produced the all the bands albums for the next 13 years.  This album also saw long time Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith join the band after Dennis Stratton decided to leave.
